Vken Journey - First 5 Months
We normally have a feeling when friends ask to chat with us out of the blue. I can sense especially when it comes to direct selling or multi level marketing. All the red flags would pop up but with VKen, it was less because it was coming from a friend I have known for 25 years. We first met in Penang at the Franciscan Capuchin House! Thanks David.
Mind you, I was very skeptical for sure.
As the weeks passed, my skepticism waned bit by bit as I tried to find out as much as I can about what makes the products work.
During the first month, I was rather disappointed that my family (9 members using) did not find mind blowing changes. Wait, though my family members were seemingly "negative" or "disappointing" in their feedback, all were supportive in journeying with me.
Generally, each person was from an "average-no-change-nonchalant demeanor" to a "kind-of-feel-good" and from the "I think some change is happening" to "the pain is gone!"
My Aunty bought a second pair for her pilgrimage, my sister bought sets for her family and I gave free socks to my mum and sister. It was only after the second month that the family and friends realise - serendipitous surprises were coming in one by one. Actually, these positive changes had already begun in the first weeks but perhaps we consciously wanted to play down the placebo effects - not realising that a positive attitude as well as placebos, do play crucial roles in the journey of healing.
First week I registered my first set of 4 pairs of socks. First month I sold 10 pairs in total. Second month I sold 12 maybe. Third month it jumped to 100 pairs. As the testimonies came rolling it, the products practically sold itself. People started to re-order and many went through great effort to bring to their loved ones out station and overseas. Fourth month it doubled up to 200.
Now almost coming to exactly 5 months in a few days, that first set has grown to a stock of almost 200 sets. That's equivalent to 800 pairs of socks.
I have no word for it except - Blessings.
